This is a Account Executive role.

You and one other AE will be the first members of the sales organization.

This is a sales role.

Almost all of your time will be spent SELLING.

We're a sales-led-growth business.

Our product is not pure PLG or PLS. The bottom line is that we won't make money unless you SELL our product.

Responsibilities

  • Qualify Leads: Deeply understand customer problems, qualify those within our ICP, and using your industry and product knowledge.

  • Manage Inbound: Prospect new customers from signups and reach out across multiple channels. Implement and experiment on methods to source, activate, and close deals, ensuring customer delight.

  • Account Expansion: Identify current customers that are expansionary opportunities and upsell.

What you'll do

  • Sell our core platform into Mid-Market businesses

  • Work with the CEO to transition from founder-led-sales and build a dedicated salesforce (BDRs, AEs, Sales Ops)

  • Sales operations: lead data enrichment, sequence automation, inbound data collection, pipeline management

What is the opportunity for growth?

This will be done side-by-side with the founders. If you're looking for personal growth, this is it.

As the team grows, this role will change and you'll get to choose whether you want to gravitate more towards:

  • an IC role which will be focused on expanding our ICP up-market (increasing ACVs)

  • a Sales Manager role that will be focused on scaling the org, team building, hiring, sales ops

What you're good at

  • Working insanely hard. You make things happen.

  • Pattern-matching and operating off very little information.

  • Top 1% energy levels. You love talking and listening to people.

About you

  • High intensity: did I already mention that you should like working really hard?

  • Team player: we win and lose as a team, you know how to buy-into a system and play your role

  • Curious: you will have to talk to our customers and deeply understand them and their business. You need to find this fascinating if you want to succeed.
