Our Commercial Account Executives are more than just sales professionals—they are trusted advisors who play a crucial role in driving revenue and building lasting relationships with both customers and prospects.
In this role, you will leverage our organic growth channels to drive revenue within your existing book of business, strategically pursue add-on solutions, and proactively consult on contract renewals. You will also play a key role in bringing on new commercial customers that come from our inbound channels.
How You'll Make an Impact:
- Product Expertise: Develop an in-depth understanding of all Cypress products and services to effectively communicate value to customers and drive long-term adoption.
- Market Intelligence: Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to effectively position the company's solutions.
- Own Your Book of Business:
- Growth Strategy: Regularly prospect into the existing book of business to identify expansion opportunities, upsell additional solutions, and strengthen customer relationships.
- Customer Retention: Proactively engage with existing customers to convert month-to-month accounts into annual contracts, ensuring retention and revenue stability.
- Lead Conversion: Effectively manage and convert inbound smb pipeline by swiftly qualifying leads, understanding their needs, and guiding them toward the right solutions.
What Makes You a Great Fit:
- Proven Sales Success: 2+ years in SaaS as a quota carrying individual, bonus points for those with XDR and/or account management experience
- Consultative Approach: Leveraging curiosity and empathy to understand and meet customer needs effectively.
- Positive Team Player: You’re an energetic, upbeat, and tenacious team player that thinks outside of the box.
- Hunter Mentality: A proven ability to identify opportunities, showcasing a strong aptitude for territory expansion and ability to drive revenue growth in untapped areas.
- Ownership & Drive: Thrive in ambiguity, knowing when to ask and when to act. Juggle multiple deals and priorities with confidence, keeping momentum strong.
Preferred Skills:
- Industry Experience: Experience selling into our ICP of developers, software engineers, and QA specialists.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with application testing and related tools, or a technical background in web applications.
- PLG Experience: Past success working in a Product Led Growth environment.
Compensation: $130-$160 OTE (50/50 split)
