We're looking for an outstanding New College Graduate to join our Game Engine Reliability team where you will make a direct impact on the very foundation of Roblox. In this role, you'll be at the forefront of enhancing engine stability and reliability, particularly focusing on performance and crash metrics. You'll develop innovative software solutions to detect, mitigate, and isolate engine incidents, automating processes to catch issues early and drive our reliability metrics to new heights.

You Are: 

  • Possessing/possess an undergraduate/graduate degree in Computer Science, engineering or a related field
  • Proficient in one or more programming languages such as Python, C++, Typescript, and C#
  • Passionate about games, user-generated content, and social networking 
  • A problem solver who excels in ambiguous environments and quickly develops proficiency in coding standards 

You Will: 

  • Design, code, test, and debug features
  • Ship code to production
  • Work with Roblox's Design, Product, Data, QA, and DevOps teams
  • Report to one of our many teams to coordinate any products or features you are working on

For roles that are based at our headquarters in San Mateo, CA: The starting base pay for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. All full-time employees are also eligible for equity compensation and for benefits.

Annual Salary Range

$150,120$150,120 USD

Roles that are based in our San Mateo, CA Headquarters are in-office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with optional in-office on Monday and Friday (unless otherwise noted).

Employees engage in a combination of remote and on-site work.

We are requiring employees to be in the office three days a week – with core days being Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. On Mondays and Fridays, employees may choose to work remotely, although the office will still be open.
