Our mission is to empower kids to discover their best futures by providing expert mentorship, strong community, and a joyful learning experience. Juni was founded in 2017 by Stanford alums Vivian Shen and Ruby Lee. Their goal in starting Juni was to provide the education opportunity they wished they had when they were students. As students, they felt learning was an uphill battle - and desired three things in their education: 1. Caring mentors 2. Strong support from friends 3. Understanding teachers Juni works for students and parents because it’s modeled after those three pillars. Juni Instructors provide critical mentorship, the Juni Community provides friends and collaboration, and the dynamic curriculum empowers students to be curious. “We believe that joyful learning will empower kids everywhere to discover, and then achieve whatever future they can dream of” - Vivian and Ruby Juni is backed by Forerunner Ventures, Index Ventures, Y Combinator Co-founder Jessica Livingston, Arielle Zuckerberg, and more. At Play-Well TEKnologies, kids dive into our classes and exercise their innate gift for building. They come away understanding fundamental principles of engineering and physics. The experience boosts their confidence, creativity and ability to collaborate. We provides project-based programs designed to teach principles and methods of engineering to children, ages 5 – 14, using LEGO®. Our curriculum is designed by engineers, building on the math and science skills students learn during the school year. Utilizing over 20,000 pieces of LEGO® for each class, we engage our students in solving real-world engineering challenges that explore concepts in physics, architecture, and engineering. Our goal is to have our students foster a greater appreciation of how things work, and encourage the qualities of inquisitiveness, self-reliance, and self-confidence in children. We have been growing future engineers since 1997. Play-Well TEKnologies currently runs programs in 23 states across the country and teach approximately 100,000 kids a year. Since 1997, hundreds of thousands of students have expanded a natural fascination with building and gained an appreciation of engineering through Play- Well’s many programs. We recently asked our staff what it is like to work at Play-Well TEKnologies. This is what they had to say: http://bit.ly/WhatIsItLikeWorkingForPlay-Well

Mystery.org is fixing science education for the next generation. We've created the fastest growing science curriculum in the U.S. On a weekly basis we're used by teachers in more than 20% of elementary schools—teaching millions of kids this school year. In an industry that is historically plagued by long sales cycle and high barriers to entry, we’ve sold thousands schools without a single sales person on staff. We’re backed by a great group of investors including Y Combinator, Learn Capital, and Reach Capital. If you’re looking for the basics: • $4M in funding from leading education investors (and we’re already profitable) • Competitive salary • Equity in a high-growth company • 401K, health care, vacation • Customers who love us …but the real perks of working at Mystery Science are the quality of the people on your team and the problem we’re solving. Those things are what bring us to work every day. On your first day at Mystery.org, you’ll meet a team of people who are passionate about science, children, and education, and who each love their respective crafts. You can meet our team here: http://mystery.org/team.
