During a time that’s been full of new challenges for people across the globe, writing extensive lines of code to create websites hasn’t needed to be one of them. Webflow just announced the close of a $140 million Series B funding round for its no-code website builder, bringing its total funding up to $215 million, according to its site.
Webflow’s customer base includes a wide range of users from individuals to small businesses, all of which use its platform that allows them to construct a unique site on a completely visual canvas. The platform aims to save designers and coders time as it includes easy-to-use tools for e-commerce, design, content management and more.
The company is building on a vast year of growth in 2020. Last year, Webflow achieved 100,000 paying customers and two million users around the world.
With the addition of this round, Webflow has reached more than a $2.1 billion valuation, according to the company. Accel and Silversmith Capital Partners led the raise. Alongside these and other returning investors, newcomer Capital G also joined the round.
With the new capital, the company is planning to accelerate innovation, fuel its product development and hire new talent. It’s also looking to expand into the web application space following the launch of Webflow Enterprise, a solution meant to serve its larger customers such as Dell and Rakuten.

Webflow is looking forward to another year of growth. The company currently employs over 200 people and has several remote-friendly roles listed on its site with availability in departments including design, marketing, engineering, product and more.
