Sourcetable, a San Francisco-based AI startup, launched its autonomous spreadsheet solution with $4.3 million in venture funding led by Bee Partners. The company aims to democratize access to data analysis by making complex spreadsheet functions easier to employ.
Users can directly tell Sourcetable’s spreadsheet solution what they want done using natural language commands. The AI-driven product can then execute tasks like creating and editing financial models, generating sheet templates, building pivot tables, cleaning data, creating charts and more. Users can give instructions via keyboard or voice controls. The solution’s AI engine has full write access and edit control to complete complex operations.
The company’s latest capital raise will help Sourcetable accelerate its mission and develop its solution into a full-scale platform for AI agents and applications. Its goal is to streamline agent-to-agent interactions and act as an operating system for the web.
