7 SF Tech Companies, Led by HashiCorp, Raised $375M+ Last Week

Software company HashiCorp just closed on $175 million in new funding, plus more SF funding news from the past week.

HashiCorp raised $175M. This Series E round has brought the software company’s valuation to a reported $5 billion. Financing for this round came from Franklin Templeton Investments and will help the startup continue its growth. The company’s product offerings include Terraform, Consul, Vault and Nomad. UserTesting got $100M. The startup offers an on-demand human insight platform that helps companies see and hear how their customers are interacting with, and responding to, their products and messaging. This equity round was led by Insight Partners. [FinSMEs]

Proxy raised $42M. This Series B round was led by Scale Venture Partners. The software company provides digital identities that give users universal access to devices and physical spaces, including elevators, turnstiles and secured doors. Its customers include DoorDash, Dropbox and Accenture. [FinSMEs]

Mya Systems pulled in $18.75M. This AI-enabled hiring chatbot (formerly known as Notion Capital) helps enterprise companies looking to fill multiple vacant positions automate (and speed up) their candidate recruitment and onboarding. This Series C round was led by Notion Capital. Its customers include L’Oreal and Deloitte. [TechCrunch]

One got $17M. The banking startup was co-founded by former Intuit CEO Bill Harris and has now raised a total of $26 million to date. Its platform is currently in private beta, and it is slated to go public this summer. Foundation Capital, Core Innovation Capital and Obvious Ventures led the round. [Fortune]

Deepgram raised $12M. This Series A round for the enterprise-focused speech recognition platform will help the company expand its reach and grow its operations. The company claims to offer highly accurate transcription and audio search based on deep learning. The round was led by Wing VC. [Voicebot.AI]

Quit Genius pulled in $11M. The company offers what it calls a “digital behavior change program” aimed at helping smokers kick the habit. This new Series A funding will help the startup expand its offerings to also help people with alcohol and other substance abuse. The round was led by Octopus Ventures. [FinSMEs]
