The following San Francisco companies are making big moves in 2021.

What they do: InvestCloud provides users with financial digital solutions like wealth management and trade processing pre-integrated in the cloud. 

All about learning: InvestCloud has a culture of continued learning and collaboration, which involves weekly cross-departmental learning sessions and bi-monthly all-hands meetings to celebrate companywide successes.

Global presence: InvestCloud employees work from Los Angeles; San Francisco; New York; London; Tampa, Fla.; Toronto; and Bengaluru, India.

In the news: In 2019, InvestCloud CEO John Wise was named one of USA Today’s best CEOs in the small and mid-size company category. Wise was accompanied by tech leaders like Asana’s Dustin Moskovitz and Who What Wear’s Katherine Power.

What they do: Returnly helps online retailers engage with customers at the point of return so that brands can offer store credit before users ship their original e-commerce items back. 

An eye on safety: In November 2020, Returnly announced In-Store Returns, a solution that allows retailers and brands to offer safe online return drop-offs at brick-and-mortar locations. The idea? To reduce time customers spend in crowded stores and shorten merchant return-to-stock times.

Sales and marketing stack: In addition to utilizing HubSpot for lead generation, Returnly employees use Salesforce and Intercom to connect with clients.

In the news: In May 2020, Returnly was selected for Shopify Plus Certified App Program, which means the company has been vetted against Shopify’s quality, performance and support metrics. The business also recently became SOC 2 Type 1 certified.

What they do: ringDNA is an end-to-end sales engagement platform that provides teams using Salesforce with conversation intelligence so that users can engage with prospects and customers with better context. 

Employee perks: Aside from having a dog-friendly office, ringDNA employees receive free lunches, generous PTO and medical coverage.

Playing in the big leagues: Sales teams at Amazon Web Services, Amazon Business, Hewlett-Packard and Autodesk all leverage ringDNA’s technology. 

In the news: According to a recent Forbes article, ringDNA is particularly well-suited for remote users. Author and professor Tom Davenport said demand for ringDNA’s solution has increased substantially since the onset of COVID-19 and the company is working on the ability to analyze Zoom calls.
