About the Job:

As a Professional Services Solution Architect, you are the primary client-facing role responsible for the ongoing success of consulting projects for a diverse, growing client base. You will work cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure alignment with client objectives and the realization of the product value. You will engage directly with clients to review their business requirements, develop reports and dashboards, and assign projects to a pool of development resources. As a trusted business consultant for your assigned clients, you will be crucial in client engagement to ensure product usage, meet project milestones, and develop a robust and ongoing relationship with your assigned clients to support their custom project requests.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Oversee the client lifecycle to proactively drive adoption and ensure ongoing client success and retention of a diverse, growing client base in a SaaS, subscription-based environment
• Serve as the lead consultant and primary point of contact for assigned projects, including data model expansion, data source integration, custom report development, custom measure development, client training, and enablement
• Leverage business knowledge and expertise to advise clients on reporting roadmap strategies, adoption of business intelligence, and using data to drive business decisions
• Conduct introductory-level training sessions with newly assigned clients to expand their familiarity with Power BI and pre-built report packages
• Manage, instruct, and mentor a team of developers in support of your active client projects
• Actively participate in development tasks in support of the project's success, including requirements gathering, scoping, estimation, project planning, adherence to project budgets, and functional development in SQL, Azure, Power Query, or Power BI
• Ensure prompt resolution of client-reported issues by leveraging resources from cross-functional teams as needed
• Responsible for personal time reporting of all hours and adherence to targets and goals for billable hour utilization
• Provide exemplary client service to each client contact with professional communication and prompt, courteous responses

Requirements

• 3-5 years of related business experience with a focus on relationship management and external consulting

• 3-5 years of related experience with reporting, data and analytics, and business intelligence operations, including business intelligence architecture and product solutions
• Prior experience gathering and interpreting business requirements.
• Experience translating business requirements into specific actionable technical requirements.
• Prior experience using Microsoft BI stack to develop custom reports and dashboards
• Demonstrated proficiency in developing BI solutions from source data through ETL, Data Warehouse schemas, presentation to reporting platforms, and report development. 
• Strong organizational skills, including prioritization of projects and tasks, time management, resource allocation, and meeting deadlines
• Prior experience with project management methodology and successful project delivery
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be in the Eastern US time zone or willing to work these hours
• Ability to work and thrive in a self-motivated environment as a proactive, results-oriented professional

Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Statistics, or a related field
• Prior experience with Microsoft PowerBI report development, including DAX.
• Prior experience with Microsoft Power Query, especially Power BI data modeling.
• Prior experience with Microsoft SQL / SQL Server - Azure-hosted cloud deployments preferred.
• Prior experience with Azure Data Factory and ETL processes to migrate data to an Azure Data Warehouse for use in BI applications.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing and BI concepts/best practices.
• Prior experience with NetSuite preferred, including knowledge of saved searches and custom fields
• Expanded understanding of business operations across diverse industries in the areas of financial reporting, manufacturing, and supply chain reporting, sales and operations reporting
• Microsoft DA-100 or related certification
