About the role

The key to Hex’s success has been our ability to hire and retain an exceptional team. At the heart of that success is a recruiting team who cares deeply about providing exceptional experiences to both candidates and our hiring teams. As we look to our next phase of growth, we are looking for a phenomenal Recruiting Coordinator to partner directly with the Recruiting team and Hiring Managers to schedule interviews and help drive world class candidate experience.

Our Recruiting team is small, mighty, and still building. This is a unique opportunity to get in on the ground floor at a startup with a phenomenal team, product, and business. You will be a key player in next exciting phase of growth.

Please note that this role requires the ability and interest to come into our SF office at least 3 days per week.

What you’ll do

  • Partner with our stellar Recruiting (previously Robinhood, Segment, Affirm, Flexport, Navan) and HM teams to schedule interviews quickly and provide exceptional candidate experience.
  • Commit to fast turnaround times to ensure that candidates move through the process quickly.
  • Take ownership of the end-to-end scheduling process for several roles at a time.
  • Use a mix of data, tools, problem-solving, and collaboration to help our teams streamline processes to delight candidates and stakeholders.
  • Use our hiring and company tools (Greenhouse, ModernLoop, Gem, Notion, Gsuite, Slack, etc.) to effectively manage a high volume of interviews with fast turnaround times.
  • Manage clear, concise, and professional communication with candidates and hiring partners in written and verbal form.

What you’ll bring

  • 1+ years of relevant work experience as a Recruiting Coordinator, ideally at a startup.
  • Ability and interest to work in our SF office at least 3 days per week.
  • Passion for all things hiring.
  • Experience and ability to deliver fast turnaround times during working hours during the work week.
  • Experience with modern recruiting and business tools like Greenhouse, Slack, Notion, and Gsuite.
  • Great attention to detail and exceptional communication skills, especially written!
  • Ability to be self-directed and comfortable with some change and ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
  • A passion for and experience with being a great team player who can build strong relationships.
  • A track record of learning quickly and delivering results.

About the role

This is a contractor role based in San Francisco, and we are targeting to onboard as soon as possible.

This role is paid hourly and we are looking for someone who can commit to at least ~25-30 hours per week for a minimum of at least 4 months. We will need you to proactively communicate about any time constraints and/ or other commitments that may hinder your ability to respond quickly during normal business hours. The ideal candidate will have flexibility and interest to flex up on number of hours per week if needed. This contract will have the possibility of extension and/ or conversion to full time based on performance and/ or company hiring needs.
