We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to design, test, and implement key hardware components which support applications for the robot.
Responsibilities:
- Design jigs, fixtures and tools which support key robot applications in 3D CAD
- Design and assemble systems which help with robot manufacturing and integration
- Generate accurate 2D drawings using GD&T per ASME Y14.5
- Build test fixtures for our reliability and testing teams
- Inspect first articles, build test stands, and continuously support applications
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in mechanical engineering
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Mechanical, Biomechanical, Robotics, Mechatronics, or similar field
- Expert in using 3D CAD software to design parts with complex geometry
- Experience designing and building prototypes
- Ability to write and maintain clean documentation for your design process
- Experience with electromechanical integration, such as sensors, motors, motor drivers, wire harnesses, and communication buses
Bonus Qualifications:
- Experience working with contract manufacturers
- CATIA V6 Experience
