We are looking for a Commercial Technician to assist our commercial team in building custom work cells to replicate client facilities (electrical, mechanical, and PLC technicians all needed).
Responsibilities:
Mechanical:
- Assemble precision mechanical components to meet project specifications
- Provide feedback to the mechanical engineering team
- Perform repairs and modifications on mechanical assemblies
- Document assembly processes and any modifications made.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Communicate issues and updates promptly to relevant teams.
Electrical & PLC:
- Read and interpret electrical schematics to ensure accurate assembly.
- Assemble and integrate electrical components into PLC terminal cabinets.
- Install wiring and components within automation cabinets.
- Conduct testing of assembled fixtures and troubleshoot any issues.
- Document assembly processes and any modifications made.
- Provide feedback to the engineering team
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Communicate issues and updates promptly to relevant teams.
Requirements:
- 5-10 years experience as a technician in a related field
- High level understanding of precision measuring equipment and/or electrical assembly and integration
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Proficient in the google suite or similar
