Commercial Technician

Figure is an AI Robotics company developing a general purpose humanoid. Our Humanoid is designed for corporate tasks targeting labor shortages and jobs that are undesirable or unsafe. We are based in Sunnyvale, CA and require 5 days/week in-office collaboration.

We are looking for a Commercial Technician to assist our commercial team in building custom work cells to replicate client facilities (electrical, mechanical, and PLC technicians all needed). 

Responsibilities: 

Mechanical:

• Assemble precision mechanical components to meet project specifications
• Provide feedback to the mechanical engineering team 
• Perform repairs and modifications on mechanical assemblies
• Document assembly processes and any modifications made.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Communicate issues and updates promptly to relevant teams.

Electrical & PLC:

• Read and interpret electrical schematics to ensure accurate assembly.
• Assemble and integrate electrical components into PLC terminal cabinets.
• Install wiring and components within automation cabinets.
• Conduct testing of assembled fixtures and troubleshoot any issues.
• Document assembly processes and any modifications made.
• Provide feedback to the engineering team
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Communicate issues and updates promptly to relevant teams.

Requirements: 

• 5-10 years experience as a technician in a related field
• High level understanding of precision measuring equipment and/or electrical assembly and integration
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Proficient in the google suite or similar
