monday.com is looking for a BI Data Analyst to join our North American Finance team in NYC! You will play a pivotal role in transforming raw financial data into actionable insights while working closely with finance professionals. You will ensure the seamless availability of data to stakeholders, maintain compliance with all tax regulations and business obligations, and foster informed decision-making throughout the organization needed to continue monday.com’s extensive growth.
Please note this is a hybrid position of 3 days/week in our NYC office.
About The Role:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex data sets and derive meaningful insights
- Collaborating with other teams, such as the business/product analytics team and BI engineering to ensure smooth integration and data consumption.
- Strong experience in BI development and data modeling, using tools such as SQL, Tableau, or ETL other related technologies
- Excellent understanding of data warehouse concepts, ETL processes, and data integration techniques
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for leveraging data to drive business insights and decision-making, and improve processes and strategies with technology solutions
- Will be an internal active gatekeeper - review data to ensure the integrity of data collection and utilization
Requirements
- 4+ years of relevant professional experience
- Proficient in SQL for data extraction and manipulation
- Efficient and creative problem-solver, comfortable with ambiguity, complexity, and nuance.
- Ability to write extremely complex queries and optimize them for performance (simply and efficiently)
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and techniques
- Experienced with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker for report/dashboard development
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Able to take ownership of fast-paced projects with rapidly shifting priorities, managing them through to completion with patience, flexibility, and passion
- Nice to have: experience working in finance business areas and modeling

For New York City-based hires only: Compensation Range: $105,000-$150,000 base salary, subject to standard withholding and applicable taxes. In addition to base salary, the role includes opportunity to receive and/or earn a discretionary bonus and/or equity based on Company’s plans and in accordance with Company’s policies. Compensation finally awarded to the candidate will be commensurate with the candidate’s skills and experience. Compensation ranges for candidates in locations outside of New York City may differ based on the cost of labor and such additional factors for such other locations.
